2022 Spring Fair Letter

Dear HAS Community,


On Saturday, April 23rd Hsinchu American School (HAS) will be hosting our annual Spring Fair Event. There will be various booths with food, drinks, games, a bouncy castle, and plenty of activities for the kids. The students are currently working very hard to organize and implement their respective booths, and we are looking forward to watching them grow and learn from this experience.


We hope that you and your families share our enthusiasm for supporting our students as they develop their business management and leadership skills, and enjoy themselves with their peers. The event is a mandatory school event for all students in Grades 1-12, and any student not in attendance should be excused through the office by a parent or guardian. Students are asked to arrive at 9am and will be dismissed at 3pm. The event schedule is as follows:

9am: Students are scheduled to arrive at school

9am – 10am: Set-Up and Preparations

10am – 2pm: Spring Fair operation hours

2pm – 3pm: Clean Up

3pm: Students are dismissed



Unfortunately, as a result of the recent COVID outbreak, we are unable to invite any member to this event outside of our student body and staff. We are greatly disappointed by this, however, are committed to ensuring a fun, educational, and safe environment for our students.


Lunch will not be provided, so students should pack a lunch for the day or bring their own money to use at the fair to buy food and drinks. Spring Fair is a long-standing tradition at HAS and promises to be a fun day for everyone involved.

親愛的家長您好

又到了春風和煦的季節,本校謹訂於4月23日(星期六)舉辦一年一度的春季園遊會。學生們已經摩拳擦掌,開始籌劃活動,當天將有各種學生攤位,販售美食、飲料、趣味遊戲及充氣城堡,攤位內容豐富好玩,我們期待透過活動舉辦,能夠讓學生有得更多學習與成長的機會。

當天是本校例行性活動,全校學生都必須參加,感謝所有家長們的配合,讓所有的學生們,獲得更多商業經營及領導學習的機會,並且享受校園溫馨和樂的氛圍。若您的孩子無法參與園遊會,請家長務必向行政辦公室請假。活動當天學生須於上午9:00到校、下午3:00放學,活動時程表如下:

活動時程

9am: 學生到校時間。

9am – 10am:各活動攤位準備時間。

10am – 2pm:春季園遊會營業時間。

2pm – 3pm:活動結束,清潔校園。

3pm:放學回家。

由於近日疫情升溫,配合政府防疫政策,本次活動將不邀請家長與貴賓參加,僅校內學生及教職員參與,懇請您見諒!這些情況並非我們所樂見,但學校會致力,為帶給學生美好校園生活而努力,讓學生們在疫情期間,活動不受影響,仍有機會大顯身手,一展長才。

園遊會當天學校不提供學生午餐,學生午餐需自理或在攤位購買,請準備適當零用金,以便選購喜愛的餐點。春季園遊會是學生們非常期待的活動之一,相信這將會是個充實又精彩的春日嚮宴。
