Hsinchu American School Travel Policy
On March 17th, 2020, the government and the ministry of education have decided to prohibit students and teachers at the high school level and below from traveling abroad until the end of the semester due to the increase of imported COVID-19 cases in Taiwan. For the safety of the Hsinchu American School community, we would like to adopt this policy for our students, teachers, and staff. All non-essential travel abroad is prohibited. If students, teachers, or staff must travel abroad, they must report their travel history upon their return to the school via phone, LINE, or email and be quarantined for fourteen (14) days. Online instruction will be provided for students that are quarantined. This new policy is effective until June 12th.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. The safety of our students, teachers, and staff is of the utmost importance to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school.
