2019 Thanksgiving Potluck Lunch
Dear HAS Families,
Hsinchu American School is holding its annual (and very popular!) Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, November 28th at 11:20am in B1 and you are all invited! The event is a potluck and always has lots of delicious food. It's a great time to share together and to give thanks for everything we have as a community. We will begin serving lunch at 11:20am. Following lunch, we will be having a school football game where both teachers and students will participate in. Buses will run as normal at the end of the school day.
We ask that students and parents prepare a dish to share at the event. Portion sizes for each dish should serve approximately 12-15 people. Food contributions have been organized by grade level to ensure that we have enough variety. Please fill out the Google Form to RSVP for the event, and also fill out what food you are bringing to we can make sure there is a nice assortment of different foods!
The grade assignments for this year are:
Grade 1-4: Beverages
Grade 5 + 6: Desserts
Grade 7 + 8: Side Dishes & Appetizers
Grade 9 + 10: Main Dishes (Western Style)
Grade 11 + 12 Main Dishes (Asian Style)
This is one of our favorite events at Hsinchu American School because it is a great opportunity for staff, students and parents to celebrate our small school community and enjoy some interaction outside of the classroom together. We are looking forward to seeing you and your families there!

親愛的新竹美國學校家長和家人們， 您好!
新竹美國學校邀請您和您的家人參加2019年11月28日11:20AM在學校B1中庭，所舉辦的年度感恩節派對(非常受到歡迎!) 。這個派對一直以來都有許多美味可口的食物，藉著這個難得的機會跟大家一起分享，同時感謝我們所擁有的一切。午餐將於11:20AM開始供應，午餐結束後，學生以及老師將參加學校安排的美式橄欖球，校車當天將依照正常時間發車。
學校安排學生和家長準備餐點到學校，跟大家一起分享。每項餐點約略為12-15人的份量。每個年級請準備不同的餐點類別，所以我們可以品嚐到許多不同口味的餐點。請填寫Google表格，會附學校您將準備的餐點，所以學校可以確定有各種不同種類的餐點，供大家享用。
各年級分配的餐點類別如下:
1至4年級: 飲料
5+6年級: 甜點
7+8年級: 配菜和開胃菜
9+10年級: 主食(西式)
11+12年級: 主食(中式)
