10/19-20 Camping Club

The Hsinchu American School Camping Club took its first overnight camping trip on Saturday, October 19-20. Seven high school boys, along with their advisor Mr. Murphy, stayed the night at the Xianhu Camping Site. During the daytime on Saturday, the group went swimming in the river, gathered wood for a campfire, set up their tents and cooking area, and ate a bunch of food and snacks. And even though the poles of one tent were left behind at the school (leaving the group one tent short), a great time was had by all.
