Library Trip

On May 11, 2018, the 7th and 8th graders took a literature field trip with Ms. Chen and Ms. Reep to the New Taipei City Library in Banqiao. The students toured all 10 stories of this amazing library which had different floors dedicated to different types of readers. The students learned about how books are checked in and out of the library, how books are sorted using the Dewey Decimal system, and how they could create their own library cards to check out all sorts of books and magazines. We hope that by visiting the library, a dedication to life-long reading was formed and that our students can visit libraries over their summer holidays!
