HAS held its annual Thanksgiving celebration on Friday, November 24th. Parents, students and faculty members gathered to give thanks for all the positives the school year has brought and to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and mingle. Additionally, because there was a potluck, the school donated its original lunch to a local homeless shelter to spread the holiday cheer.
Afterward, students enjoyed a variety of activities, including American touch football and various physical activities to work off some of the food previously enjoyed. While the abundance of food was certainly a highlight, the pleasant conversations and interactions among all stakeholders made the event a true success.
