HAS Hold Fundraiser and Concert for World Vision

HAS partnered with World Vision today to celebrate International Day of the Girl Child. There were speeches from students, faculty members and World Vision representatives. These speeches all dealt with the topic of women's rights and the need for equality on a global level.

Afterward, there was a small concert, led by HAS's student bands prior to the head of school handing over HAS's fundraising donation.

This was a wonderful fundraising event, helping teach students about the importance of charity and of volunteer work. Everyone had a great time and it was a wonderful learning opportunity as well!
