10/14 Volunteer with Eden Social Welfare

On October 14th, 2017, ten of our high school students along with Ms. Sonia had the opportunity to join Eden Social Welfare Foundation (伊甸基金會) on a field trip for people with disabilities to Miaoli. The students traveled to the scenic Shangri-La Paradise Park (香格里拉樂園) and Hakka Cultural Park where they assisted special-needs adults on the trip. Our students demonstrated their compassion for others and their tenacity to work in high pressure situations as they interacted with people in the greater community and those who are less fortunate than they are. We are so proud of our students!

Hsinchu American School strongly believes in creating well-rounded students and citizens of the world and we look forward to our next event with the Environmental Protection Agency on October 21, 2017 in Taoyuan for a beach clean up.
