12/15 Senior Homes Community Service Event
Last Saturday, December 15h, we went to a seniors house in Nantou to do community service. The seniors' house was having a special winter fair event, and we did several help outs ranging from cleaning the house to hosting a game booth, from accompanying and protecting the elderlies to entertaining them by playing mahjong with them. We all enjoyed talking with the elderlies and had learned many life lessons from them. This event was not just a community service event, it was a

12/14 Christmas Party
On Friday, December 14th, our high school and middle school students celebrated the holiday season with some wonderful traditions. The high school decorated gingerbread men while the middle school had their own DIY hot chocolate bar and enjoyed many sweet treats. Both groups of students participated in a Secret Santa where everyone got to open wonderful Christmas presents from their peers. We ended the afternoon with a holiday movie in Ms. Burden's classroom. 2018 Winter Performance
Winter Performance is an event to show off our talents and to celebrate our winter holiday. There were many performances, such as The Greatest Showman. We ate during the performances, and the food was provided by the PTA. The food from PTA were hot coffee, hot milk tea, ham and cheese croissants, cake rolls, mini puffs and sushi. 12/7 Basketball Game vs. AST
The HAS Basketball team survived a thrilling 37-35 heart-pounder on Friday afternoon at home vs. AST. The game was within reach throughout, with neither club extending a double-digit advantage. A key 8-0 spurt to end the third quarter was just enough for the hosts as the Eagles mounted a furious final rally thanks to creating turnovers in a full-court press. 2018 THIMUN Singapore
From November 19 to November 23, four students from the Model United Nations (MUN) club attended THIMUN Singapore this November. All of the students were representing the country of Libya, which provided a unique challenge as students had to argue for positions they did not personally support.
