10/30 Special Visit from College Board
The Hsinchu American School had a special visit on Tuesday, October 30, from two representatives of the College Board: Mr. Sonny Lin, Executive Director of International College Board, and Mr. Gino Kuo, the Director of International Marketing. 10/25 Teachers vs. Students Ultimate Frisbee Match
Last Thursday, the students and teachers played against each other in a heated ultimate frisbee match. Fun was had on all sides, and the student team eventually won with a score of 10 to the teachers 9 due to hard work and brilliant strategy. Go wolves!

2018 Thanksgiving Potluck
Dear HAS Families, Hsinchu American School is holding its annual (and very popular!) Thanksgiving feast on Friday, November 23rd at 11:30am in B1 and you are all invited! The event is a potluck and always has lots of delicious food. It's a great time to share together and to give thanks for everything we have as a community. We will begin serving lunch at 11:30am. 10/7 CS: Agriculture Event
It is very hard for people from urban areas to understand the importance to treasure food. In the morning of October 7th, 2018, several HAS students went to Dashan, Miaoli for an agricultural event. Students had learned the farming procedures from modern to past, and the differences between organic and chemical farming. Apart from that, students went to a black beans field to help pick up weeds. 2018 Lock-In
On September 28th and 29th, HAS held its annual tradition of Lock-In and the students and teachers had so much fun! Lock-In is a great way for new and returning students and teachers to get to form strong bonds and build a sense of community.
