The Hsinchu American School curriculum is based on the McRel Standards, the predominant university standards for G1-G12 students.
From 6th grade, students begin an Advanced Placement Preparatory track, which will allow them to begin taking AP classes as early as 10th and 11th grades, and many students participate in advanced offerings such as the well known Center for Talented Youth from Johns Hopkins University.
Limited English students are provided English Support, after school tutoring and study halls. We strive to get students up to grade level as quickly as possible. All of our faculty take great pride in their dedication in helping students to succeed.
